I remember Mike. In high school he always had the latest music, the latest album, who was who, and who was new in the music business. He introduce me to Frank Zappa and the 'Mothers of Invention' and the Fugs. After high school I lost contact, as I did with so many friends. I have often wondered where he went, what he did, and how coud I get in touch with him. I tried FB but never had any success. This is such sad news.

One weekend in the mid-sixties Mike's dad took Mike, me, Steve Langstaff and one or two others to go surfing up the coast at Rincon. We had formed the Pasadena Surf Club and were wearing our PSC jackets. We strapped our surf boards to the roof of the Cadillac and had a pretty good day. Then on the way home on 101 around Van Nuys, the boards lifted off the car and flew over the center divider and landed on a motorcyclist. A couple of the boards had permanent tire marks on them. The motorcyclist was not happy but fortunately he was alright and his bike came out of it okay. We all had a good laugh as we restrapped down the boards and cruised on back into Pasadena...
