Tom and his family were good friends to me. One night Tom, Garth Alfred, Tom O'Field ( he became a Pasadena Police officer) and me drove around during Halloween night and were tossing eggs. We were 17 or maybe 19 years old. Garth I think tossed an egg at a undercover police car and we were pulled over right in front of Tom's house and the Kennons (Marina). I remember being prone leaning against the police car being searched when the neighbors came out of their houses wanting to know why the cops were harassing the poor children from the neighborhood. Remember this is the 60s. Tom's dad being an Irish attorney who had a few stiff drinks was defending us. They let us go. Thomas was a good guy.

I remember Tom as a gentleman that would do just about anything to help a person in need.

I did buy a car from him and it needed work so he just told me to take over the remaining payments.. I remember there weren't too many left on it.

RIP Tom. You will be missed.
