Gabriel Soliz and I used to walk to PHS together. We'd meet part way and talk as we completed our daily journey to school. He lived in an area of town that I passed through so we'd join up. He seemed to be close to his family. I can't recall whether he was born in Mexico or here in the US but nevertheless he was a kind, interesting, friendly person. He was a great storyteller.
