Linda Sue Robbins was one of the best of us. She was kind and funny. She was beautiful and yet I don't think she ever knew it. The most beautiful people are not aware of that beauty and it makes them even more beautiful. My wife and I used to know that Linda Sue would be at the reunions and we would have someone to talk to and joke with. When Linda Sue passed I stopped going to class reunions. It would never be the same without Linda Sue.

Linda Sue was one of the first people who befriended me when I came to Burbank in the 3rd grade. I had a hard time adjusting to my new school and cried my first few days on the playground. Linda offered her friendship and support and we sat together at lunch. She was my protector when one of the boys in my class made fun of me. Just as Steve mentioned in his comments I always looked forward to seeing Linda at the reunions. She always had a smile on her face and a cheerful disposition. When she became ill I was so sad. I knitted a beautiful blue healing shawl for her and sent it to so she could keep warm during her long hours of chemotherapy. I prayed and hoped she would recover.
