Sally Eileen Pett Barr, age 58, passed away May 30, 2007 at her home in Nephi, Utah.
She was born March 22, 1949 in Santa Monica, California to Lorenzo Pett and Patricia Reid Lee. She married Russell M. Spencer; they were later divorced. She married Richard William Barr July 11, 1987 in the Manti LDS Temple.
Survived by her husband, Richard W. Barr; children, Julie Ison, Sarah Jarrah, Fred Spencer, Zachary Barr, Thad Barr, Amber Barr, and Rulon Barr; 12 grandchildren; parents, Lee and Patricia Pett; sisters, Alis House, Gloria Stewart, and April Winkleman; brothers, Ronald and John Pett. Preceded in death by her sister, Carol Pett.
Funeral services will be held at 12 noon Saturday, June 2, 2007 in the Nephi 1st Ward, 222 S 100 E. Friends may call from 10:30-11:45 a.m. at the church prior to the services. Interment will be in the Spring City Cemetery under the direction of Anderson Funeral Home, Nephi, UT.

Sally was a good friend. I knew her whole family. About a week before her passing from cancer I was able to visit her. She was so sweet and fought a brave fight. Sally saved my life. When we were kids we went to a swim party. I almost drowned and Sally pulled me to safety. I will never forget that. RIP Sally!

Sally Pett was a very dear person! She was raised in a large and loving family. During our school years together, the Pett family moved to Altadena, just 2 doors away from my family. Not only did this make play dates more frequent, but I visited the Pett home regularly, as Sally's mom was my piano teacher for many years! How sad it is to learn of Sally's premature parting from this world; how fortunate heaven is to include her beautiful energy! Rest peacefully, dear friend!
