I, too, remember Joanne from Longfellow Elementary School, first grade. She was always so kind and caring. It saddens me to hear of her passing. It seems it is happening way too often lately. I lost my brother, John or JJ, just two years ago. His heart stopped while watching tv. He was in the Class of 1970.
Also, Vikki Riherd Smith who graduated from Muir, passed in the past year. She had several PHS friends.
